SPIDERS

I was never a girl who would scream about spiders.

My Pa taught me to just grab a shoe, smash them and carry on.

A lot of girls truly do have a phobia to spiders though. 

Growing up at camp I was commissioned many times to take care of unwelcomed eight legged creatures in the girl's dorm. 

Spiders became more of a frustration than a fear. 

It seemed that no matter how thoroughly I cleared the rooms of webs and their occupants, it only took one day for their relatives to fill the vacancy. 

Sometimes people would vocalize their complaints and it would bother me. My family tried really hard to keep the place up....

One day while reading my Bible I came across this verse in Proverbs. 

I am not sure why God put this verse in the Bible but it makes the spider situation a lot less discouraging for me!

It does not matter where you may live - a mansion on a hill or a humble cottage, there will always be the little creepy crawlies. Even kings deal with them!

Don't let the spiders get you down!
