ONE Recipe!!!
This dough recipe was passed down to me from my mother-in-law and has become my go-to recipe for just about everything "breadish" I make!
Making up words makes me smile!! *silly grin*
Anyway...
The reason I love this recipe SO much is because it is
SUPER SIMPLE
Has A Soft, Light Texture
YUMMY
It Does Not Require Eggs
VERSATILE
Here is the recipe:
5 cups flour (separated)
2 Tbl. yeast
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk powder
1/2 c. butter (or oil)
2 cups warm water
*NOTE* If you don’t have Milk Powder, use 2 cups regular milk in its place, eliminate water from the recipe.
*NOTE* Replacing half of the white flour for whole wheat flour is a yummy option!
