Hi Guys!!! I'm 4 months old today and I am 2 feet tall!!!
This morning I got to try some fruit for the first time!! It was super yummy to suck on!
So I thought I would take you all on a walk through my typical day!
I usually wake up very happy between 7:00 and 7:30 and am content to lay on mommy and daddy's bed while they go about getting ready for their day.
Mom fixes breakfast and a sack lunch for daddy to take to work. They eat and I observe from my cool new high chair that our friends, the Hartmans gave me! I like to sit up a lot so mom puts me in my high chair, puts toys on the little tray and I play with but mostly chew on them! It's great!
Daddy kisses us goodbye and then it's my turn for breakfast!
Then I spend some time in my swing or on the floor while mom works on things around the house.
I love to cuddle and around 10:30 all I want is a mid-morning snack and to cuddle with mom in the rocking chair until I drift off to sleep. For some reason though, I always wake up in the bedroom. Strange.
OH! Let me tell you what I can do!!!
I can sit up all by myself!! But mom stays close because I will eventually just tip right over and there is nothing I can do about it! We will have to work on that!
In the afternoons I spend time in my swing or on the floor or in my high chair. Recently the weather has been really warm and mom and I sit outside on our porch! I like being outside! So much to look at!
Mom keeps saying that I get my wiggles from my Auntie Mo. I wiggle wiggle wiggle! Sometimes I wiggle right off the quilt that mama puts on the floor for me to lay on.
On Tuesdays mom and I go shopping for big people food. I ride along in the Ergo carrier and people always stop to "aww" over me and ask how old I am and what my name is...the funny thing is, they never ask mom what her name is :P
In the mid-afternoon mommy puts me on the bed and lays down next to me and reads her book out loud to me. I think her reading material is a little beyond my level so I eventually fall asleep.
When I wake up I get to eat, then it is time for mom to start making supper for daddy, so I sit around some more. Boy do I sit around a lot!
Daddy comes home around 5:00! Just in time too, because by then I am getting pretty tired of sitting by myself. Daddy holds me while mommy finishes making supper! I like my daddy!
I usually get to be held on mommy or daddy's knee while they eat supper then we all hang out for a while. Sometimes we watch a movie or play a game (I just watch) or just snuggle on the couch.
I start to get pretty tired around 7:30. Sometimes when I get tired like that I just want my mom and I cry "mom mom mom". My parents have a hard time believing that I am actually saying mommy's name.
So, I get fed then daddy changes my diaper and I get tucked into my little bassinet with my binkie and I drift off to sleep.
Well, that's what my day looks like! It's pretty great for a 4 month old don't ya think?!
So, what kind of things do you think I will start doing this next month?!
