But Hey!
She didn't know that!
Our little girl was going to have her first birthday!
That only ever happens once!
So what do you do for a one year old little girl on her birthday?
You have CAKE!!
And you have it with friends!
Friends are a blessing!
When God moves you half way across the country you leave behind family and friends...
that is the hardest part about moving.
BUT! Where God moved us He had established friendships waiting!
One of my best friends from collage lives 7 minutes away and J's childhood friend lives 30 minutes away!
There is even a little buddy for Jael to play with!
These friends have taken up the role of loving on Jael!
So thankful for them!
Thankful these guys took selfies on my camera because I forgot to get pictures of them! *Grin
We had a fun evening sharing supper, talking, watching Jael open gifts, eating cake and playing games!
This year has been a whirl-wind watching our baby grow into a little girl!
So so thankful that she is part of our family!
