Growing up at camp we always made home-fried potatoes, scrambled eggs and cinnamon rolls for the last morning of camps or retreats.
A number of years ago we were having a men's retreat that had been coming to camp year after year.
We always served the same breakfasts and thought that perhaps the guys would be up for a change.
Boy were we wrong!
What we did not know was that our cinnamon rolls had become quite famous and everyone looked forward to having them again the next time they visited camp.
The men enjoyed the meal but requested cinnamon rolls back for the next year.
Ever since then we have not attempted to change!
The secret to our cinnamon rolls is the glaze!
I've not found any other glaze like it!
I am going to share it with you!
Why keep something so yummy to yourself when others could enjoy it too?!?
It is SO simple!
Only THREE ingredient!
Recipes do not have to be complicated to be SO good!!
Make up a batch of your favorite cinnamon roll dough or you can "cheat" and buy the store bought canned cinnamon rolls from the grocery store.
Bake
Glaze for 12 Cinnamon Rolls
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Maple Flavor
2 Tablespoons Brewed Hot Coffee
Mix
Drizzle over hot rolls!!
ENJOY!!!
